Remote Support Is LCWA’s Current Offering

If one of LCWA’s Access Point (AP) Radios goes down, LCWA is on it fast. However, if a member house goes down due to network equipment failing at the home, remote support is our current offering, primarily by email (but some phone support too).

Fixing the Backbone Is our Primary Role

We fix backbone network issues pretty quickly, usually within a business hour or two. Sometimes it can take up to a day since the radios are scattered over 400 square miles and some are in remote locations that can take hours to reach. But that’s rare. In any case, we try to announce these outages quickly on our 800 status line (800-536-6149 option 1). And for big outages, we also post on Facebook.

Member Outages at One Home: No Site Visits

However, if a single-member house goes down due to network equipment failing at the home, don’t expect a white LCWA van to show up at your house and a uniformed team to jump to the rescue. Why Not?

First, due to COVID-19, LCWA volunteers are not going inside members’ homes.

But mainly, due to fewer and fewer volunteers (when was the last time you volunteered?), we don’t have enough volunteers to do that. And our prices would go way up if we bought white vans and hired full-time technicians.

Email Support Is Primary (phone is secondary)

Due to that, our main line of support these days is by email. It’s amazing how much we can assist that way.

So, if you have an issue, your first step should be to send an email to support@lcwireless.net. When we get such an email, we immediately look at your system remotely and send an email back with suggestions for how you can Notwithstanding, cost of viagra online free is bring down than the monetary outlay of cialis. The Power of Remote Support: Get an airCube Router

The reason we recommend our new standard router, the airCube, is that we can use it to remotely support you. If you report an issue, the first thing we do is look to see if you have an airCube, and if so, we immediately log into its diagnostic information, remotely, and see what’s going on.

Having an airCube often makes the difference between whether you will get a remote fix from us or not!

So, get an airCube router from us, now. These are not available in a local BestBuy, by the way, so don’t wait till your current router fails. Just get one now. Getting new routers every two years is a good idea anyway, for both security and performance, so it’s time for an upgrade.

By the way, purchase the airCube from LCWA, not from Amazon. That’s because if you get it from us, we will configure it for your account, usually within a day or two of your request. After that, you just come pick it up and plug it in back at your home.

To get an airCube, write an email to support@lcwireless.net. We provide these routers to you at our cost, by the way: only $33, which shows up on your next LCWA invoice.
