Backbone Updates Continue
LCWA has made a lot of progress this summer and fall in upgrading our weaker backbone components. The result: many of you are seeing greater reliability and speed. We still have a few major backbone locations to go, with the next access point upgrades in Cerrillos and Madrid, and at Spirit Ridge and Jicarilla Ridge southeast of Santa Fe Trail. There is constant work going on, and sometimes it takes longer than we hope, but we are getting there!. ! Thank you for your patience as we sometimes need to invoke maintenance outages to swap in new equipment. By the way, if you encounter our staff and volunteers in the field, please give them a hearty hello and thank you!
